The client began looking for a more robust and integrated security solution when it became clear that sophisticated malware was increasingly targeting healthcare organizations. The medical center was using a combination of well-respected products for traditional firewall, anti-virus, and web filtering. They have recently purchased several smaller practices, all of which must be brought into the medical center's secure infrastructure. The client goal is to onboard new acquisitions as soon as possible and has our Network Security team examine all network traffic to eliminate external points of failure.

Solution

9 Star Technologies installed Network Security to uncover and block both known and unknown incoming threats, including attacks that evade traditional signature and policy-based defenses. Knowing that the medical center can turn to 9 Star Technologies whenever the client team needs have given them peace of mind.

Result

They appreciate the comprehensive nature of the protection provided by 9 Star Technologies; the client commented, the ability to find zero-day attacks, and threats exploiting vulnerabilities that their application software vendors didn't even know existed, has more than proved they made the right decision to reach out to 9 Star Technologies. Network Security pays for itself both in terms of security and time management. In terms of effort, it runs in the background 24/7, and when we do get actionable intelligence, we pay attention. They no longer must chase false positives.

INFRASTRUCTURE AS A SERVICE (IAAS)

Infrastructure as a service provides companies with computing resources including servers, networking, storage, and data center space on a pay-per-use basis.

1. Software as a service (SaaS)

Cloud-based applications — or software as a service — run on distant computers "in the cloud" that is owned and operated by others and that connect to users' computers via the internet and, usually, a web browser

2. Platform as a service (PaaS)

Platform as a service provides a cloud-based environment with everything required to support the complete lifecycle of building and delivering.

3. Public cloud

Public clouds are owned and operated by companies that offer rapid access over a public network to affordable computing resources. With public cloud services, users don't need to purchase hardware, software, or supporting infrastructure, which is owned and managed by providers.

4. Private cloud

A private cloud is an infrastructure operated solely for a single organization, whether managed internally or by a third party and hosted either internally or externally. Private clouds can take advantage of cloud efficiencies while providing more control of resources and steering clear of multi-tenancy.

5. Hybrid cloud

A hybrid cloud uses a private cloud foundation combined with the strategic integration and use of public cloud services. The reality is a private cloud can't exist in isolation from the rest of a company's IT resources and the public cloud.

6. AWS MANAGED SERVICES

AWS Managed Services provides ongoing management of your AWS infrastructure so you can focus on your applications. By implementing best practices to maintain your infrastructure, AWS Managed Services helps to reduce your operational overhead and risk. AWS Managed Services automates common activities such as change requests, monitoring, patch management, security, and backup services, and provides full-lifecycle services to provision, run, and support your infrastructure.

Chatbots are taking the tech world by storm. This technology helps humans converse with computers in their native language via a computer interface

One issue with chatbots' future viability is developers' focus on enabling more natural and human-like conversations with users. This is a lofty goal, given that AI is not yet able to deliver on the promise of natural language processing (NLP). Because most chatbots still use retrieval based deep-learning models instead of generative ones, users are aware they are interacting with a machine.

A chatbot platform is a pre-designed framework that tries to simplify bot-making components for users. The year 2016 was chatbot's year. That doesn't imply that people you come across may know all about bots. It is important to consider this while building a chatbot. We have shared best practices that can be leveraged for building chatbots and ultimately deliver a bot that is user-friendly.
